This section is meant to cover any other devices not listed in the general hardware section that plug into a workstation. There are two main types:
1. Devices that plug in via USB. These devices are most common and can be wireless devices (dongle on computer - receiver on the hardware component), webcams, and other devices.
2. Devices that plug into specialized ports created from specialized cards. Sometimes you will see add-on cards installed on computers such as a fancy graphics card, a serial port card, a USB 3.0 expansion card, ect. All of these plug into a port on the back of the computer which is connected on the inside of the computer through a card which is connected to the motherboard's PCIe slot in most cases.
